Monkey on my back? Why yes. It’s sugar & has been for some time. Starting off the morning with a sweet cereal & later throwing down a granola bar, or other sweet carbs. No no no. Want to stop the madness & cut the sugar down. Biggest trap for me is hanging with the fam & chomping on snacks in front of the TV.
Pump the water, pound the protein & good carbs – veggies & fruits. I know the drill. I just have to practice what I know. It ain’t easy but it IS worth it. Want to cut my bad cholesterol #’s & drop 30 lbs.
If it’s important, we will find a way. If it’s not, we’ll find an excuse. I want to wake up every day to better energy, slimmer physique, healthier joints. Old ways won’t open new doors. Starting this week I am now working out four times a week. On my days off from the gym I am taking long walks & increasing my cardio fitness. I can do it. I have the power. Yes, I am far too smart to be the only thing standing in my way.
